A sports & entertainment industry professional for some 25 years now, Clint graduated from Deakin University with a commerce degree majoring in sports management and marketing. His first role was selling hospitality and sponsorship at Richmond Football Club.

Ever since that time, Clint has created and managed his own event management agencies along with setting up Building Brands, The Melbourne Network and was the brains behind Connect x Sanctum.

General Manager of maxfield, Ben is a passionate and outgoing leader in his field. With a portfolio of achievements and vast experience that spans well over two decades, Ben has redefined the client-relationship process by taking a personal and genuine approach to each client’s needs, delivering successful outcomes time and time again.

Ben consults strategically with his clients whether this be partnerships in the Network or on the conception and implementation of international / national conference and sponsorship programs. Ben has a strong focus on achieving excellence in operational management, fostering strong client relationships and maintaining a strong sense of ethics and integrity.

Sam Salter

An original partner of maxfield. Sam is a relationship-driven entrepreneur with focus on partnership and providing results. Sam co-founded BikeExchange in 2007 with childhood friend Jason Wyatt, evolving it from humble beginnings to a global marketplace, culminating in a successful ASX listing in 2021 with a market cap of $78 million. As a founder Sam has influenced all aspects of the business including business development, marketing, customer success, and product development.

Driven by the success of BikeExchange and the platform they created Sam and Jason establish Marketplacer, a leading marketplace SaaS platform that has raised over $100 million in capital, expanded into global markets, and assisted over 90 businesses, including major corporations like Myer, Woolworths, and Qantas, in executing their marketplace strategies.

James Webster

James is an accomplished professional with a vast array of experience within the sports, entertainment, and events industry.

As the Sales and Partnerships Manager for maxfield James works with clients to build out solutions and strategic opportunities that best suit the needs of the client. Always up for discussing business and connecting clients with his network. James started his career in event operations, soon followed into event management and has been significant in ensuring client’s objectives are met throughout each event.

Lily Ardrey

After being dubbed the ‘organiser’ of the friend group in high school, Lily soon realised she had a natural talent for events. Lily weaved her way through the wedding industry with the ability to keep calm and problem-solve in emotional situations. From weddings into corporate, Lily then found herself at maxfield, an energetic, go-getting team that loves hosting events for corporate and sporting clients. The variety of events keeps Lily on her toes.

Since arriving at maxfield, Lily has gone from strength to strength managing high end product launches, back-to-back residential conferences, well over 50 golf days and in addition to all this, Connect x Sanctum.

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Ash has a comprehensive background in operations, management, and entrepreneurship. Ash has honed leadership skills and built strong customer and supplier relationships while successfully managing all aspects of operations.

Thriving in fast-paced environments, Ash consistently delivers exceptional customer solutions, optimises processes, and fosters strong team relationships. In a recent sales management role, Ash gained a profound appreciation for the importance of outstanding customer service and the need to proactively deliver innovative solutions.

On a personal note, Ash is an avid food and wine enthusiast. Along with her husband, who also works in the industry, they share their passion with their three children. As a family, they actively support the hospitality sector and are passionate sports fans, always engaged in both playing and watching.

Russell Morris

Russell boasts over 30 years of experience in sports marketing and client entertainment. His career began as a distinguished professional player in the VFL/AFL, where he earned premiership with the Hawthorn Football Club and finals with the St Kilda Football Club. Throughout his career, Russell has successfully balanced the demands of elite professional sports with a strong focus on business development.

His professional journey includes roles such as Sales Manager at Triple M Radio and General Manager of the prestigious Sports PR Group, Javelin Australia. Russell’s expertise spans digital sports technology, sports sponsorships, and marketing, having worked with St Kilda FC and the sports compression brand, Skins. Most recently, he concluded a nine-year tenure as Partnership Manager for Mercedes-Benz Brighton.

Tyler’s background as an AFL player, gives him a unique insight into the sports industry, allowing him to combine his marketing knowledge with a genuine passion for sports. A true sporting fanatic, Tyler thrives in collaborative environments that combine his love for activity and entertainment with his media and communication expertise.
